LAKELAND, FL (March 6, 2026)--
Meadowbrook Golf Group Inc. (OTCBB: MGGI), a leading golf course operating
company, has promoted Cindy Geiger for the position of compliance manager.
In her new position, Geiger will be responsible for ensuring that the
management and maintenance programs implemented by the company for its
golf facilities meet industry standards for environmental and safety
practices.
"We understand the importance of working in concert with the
environment," Scott Zakany CGCS, Executive Vice President of Meadowbrook
Golf Group, said. "We place a high priority on maintaining environmentally
sound programs for our golf facilities that we have dedicated Cindy to
overseeing these issues on a full-time basis."
One of the key programs that Geiger will be responsible for involves
gaining golf course certification through The Audubon Cooperative
Sanctuary Program. Through this program, golf course facilities receive
certification by meeting standards in specific areas of golf course
management including habitat perpetuation, wildlife conservation, and
water quality control.
In addition to overseeing environmental certification, Geiger will be
responsible for developing training programs for employees and
coordinating internship and management development programs in association
with area colleges. “I am eager to enhance Meadowbrook’s reputation as an
advocate for sound golf course management/maintenance practices by
implementing well structured programs for safety, environmental issues and
proper employee training,” Geiger said. “In addition, I am also looking
forward to maintaining tight communication lines with various colleges and
universities.”
Geiger is a twelve-year veteran of the contractual golf course
maintenance industry having worked most recently as operations
coordinator/manager for International Golf Maintenance (IGM), a subsidiary
